Port City Brewing Company is a craft beer brewery located at 3950 Wheeler Avenue in Alexandria. The brewery was established in 2011 after the closure of Prohibition, Alexandria's first production brewery. The facility offers an exciting line of hand-made locally crafted beer with five flagships which are always on tap as well as seasonal and unusual one-off brews. Since its establishment in the City of Alexandria, the company has won many accolades including being named the 2015 Small Brewing Company of the year at the Great American Beer Festival. Port City also operates a tasting room which is open 7 days a week. The Brewery also offers tours and private events.
